Winter Prairie Play

It’s Visit Brookings’ Annual Frost Fest! Bundle up to celebrate the season on the outdoor prairie at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota and take part in:

• Snow Strider Course
• Sledding
• Snowga! (4 pm)
• Snow forts and snow painting
• Snowshoeing
• Say “hi” to Mama T. Rex and Max
• Stay for lunch or have a snack or hot chocolate at Café Coteau (Open 8 am to 2 pm Tuesday-Saturday)
• Play Central Toys & Books is taking part in Brookings Crazy Days: Buy a Play Along at Home Kit and get a free bag of bonus activities. Receive a free CMSD vinyl sticker with a $25 purchase.

(Please note: The indoor prairie is closed at this time. Also, some events are snow-permitting. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate though, we can still play .. and even learn how to Make Our Own Snow!)

Operation modifications such as limited capacity, washing hands, staying home when you are sick, physical distancing, and face coverings for everyone 2 and over will be in effect.
