The Maker Studio offers space for thinking, designing, making, and reflecting.

Whether it’s after school, or on a no-school day, the Maker Studio is a great place to spark your imagination and make your great ideas come to life. Register now for after-school programming and school break camps.

After School in the Maker Studio

From robotics to circuitry, to art and science, the Maker Studio offers a variety of experiences to foster exploration and collaboration.

Monday-Friday (Starting Monday, Aug. 26) 3-5:30 pm
Ages 5 and up // Drop Off Optional // $5 per session ($4 members)

Does your child need a place to go after school? Or perhaps you are looking for a place to spark your child’s imagination? The After School Maker Studio is a flexible, come and go experience for children age 5 and up.

The Maker Studio was designed by children for children to inspire all makers. Daily experiences foster creativity, curiosity, and self-expression through a variety of activities including robotics, circuitry, pottery, sculpture, and paint to name a few. Children will have the time and space to explore the diverse interests they bring with them. Register via our website calendar or call 605-692-6700, ext. 0.

School Break Camps

The following camps are for children ages 6-12. Camps are drop off and require registration. The cost is $48 each session. Members receive a 20% discount. Bring a sack lunch.

Young Artists

Friday, Oct. 11 // 8 am-5 pm
Print Making! Collage! Painting! Take an artistic adventure exploring the skills and techniques of POP ART. Famous artists inspiring this camp include Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Romero Britto, and Keith Haring. Register for Young Artist Camp via our website or by calling 605-692-6700, ext. 0.

Simple Machines

Monday, Oct. 14 // 8 am-5 pm
Gear up for an engaging day of discovering the inner workings of simple machines through a variety of activities. Design your own catapult, get creative with pendulum painting, ramp up the fun exploring force and motion, plus so much more. Register for Simple Machines School Break Camp on our website or by calling 605-692-6700, ext. 0.

Exploring the Studio

What inspires your child’s artistic side? Children will discover their muse and explore different ways of representing their inspiration. Will you be a fiber and textile artist, sculptor, painter, or maybe a collage artist? STEAM Camp

Wednesday, Nov. 27 // 8 am-5 pm
