Looking for inspiration?

At the Children’s Museum of South Dakota, we believe that the power of play can follow you wherever you go.

Even though our physical building is not open to the public, our team has been working hard creating activities and content to inspire you to spark your imagination through play, creativity, and discovery!

Here are a few resources to get you started:

Connectivities:

Connectivities is like a Children’s Museum in a box! It contains activities designed to launch creativity, spark joy, and foster meaningful relationships with a special child in your life.

The activities are not only super fun, but they encourage social connections, too. Connectivities boxes, geared for age 6 and above, can be shipped right to the child’s doorstep or picked up in our gift shop, Play Central Toys & Books. Quantities are limited.

Play at Home Kit:

Our education team developed a series of kits that feature the most popular activities from our classes and camps. Each themed kit, designed for preschoolers on up, features 5 activities plus bonus materials. Each purchase supports our mission!

Virtual Classes:

Stay tuned to our calendar where STEAM Challenges and Take-n-Make virtual class opportunities get added regularly. Explore art, science, technology, and more! Classes take place on Zoom. Our educators are pros at engaging young minds. It is so much fun!
