Meet the Sik family: Milan, Shirley, Blessing (10), and Alvin (3), who have been members since 2020.
We asked Shirley to share a bit about their life and their family’s experiences at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota.
Tell us about your family:
Shirley: We are a family of 4, and we enjoy exploring, science, and nature. We are a fun-loving family that loves to engage with others and learn new things.
How often do you come to the museum?
Shirley: Almost every other day.
What is your family’s favorite exhibit?
Shirley: There is so much to see and just being here makes our children happy.
What keeps your family coming back to the museum?
Shirley: There is always something new to explore and the staff are great with kids.
What is the most valuable thing about your membership?
Shirley: Being able to come as often as possible and being able to explore and experiment.
What would you tell a family who’s coming to the museum for the first time?
Shirley: If you are looking for a place where kids can play and learn, try new things, learn how to play with others, laugh, and solve problems, this is the place!
Is there anything else you would like to share?
Shirley: When you become a regular, nothing gets old. There is always something new to learn.
