• Weigh one of the plush pets on the scale
• Use a stethoscope to listen to a pet’s heartbeat
• Look in an animal’s ear or nose with an otoscope
• Examine x-rays
• Wrap an injured leg
• Work at the reception desk checking in new pets and answering the phone
• Read about pets and other animals in the waiting room
