Maker Studio
Designed for making, inventing and tinkering, the Maker Studio offers a place to collaborate and learn new skills.
The space, designed by children for children, will inspire all makers. Experiences foster creativity, curiosity, and self-expression through a variety of activities including robotics, circuitry, pottery, sculpture, and paint to name a few. Children will have the time and space to explore the diverse interests they bring with them.
The Maker Studio is a flexible space that is used for after school classes, art camps, STEAM camps, and more. Be sure to check the calendar to see when activities are planned for the studio.

Party on 1
Explore air, study dinosaur bones, and even experiment with circuits! Party on 1 transitions from a scientific research lab during our Science Sunday experiments to a space for a private social gathering just like that. Party on 1 is one of the rooms available for rent for family get-togethers, baby showers, or a private meal.

Party on 2
One day it’s a scene for a dinosaur birthday party filled with young paleontologists exploring fossils. Other days it transforms into a scientific laboratory sparking birthday wonder with circuit Legos and fizzy bubbles. Party on 2 is not only the space for our unique playful birthday parties, but it is also used for summer classes and activities filled with scientific and artistic fun!

Central 201
Central 201 is a classroom designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Activities move from sensory playtime complete with cloud dough to creative movement classes with dancing ribbons and instruments.

Central 202
Central 202 is a versatile space that moves from STEAM and Maker Studio classes to a landing pad for traveling exhibits that are making the rounds again. The room has also played host to the Brookings-area Innovation Learning Lab program where students get to solve real-world problems.
