While the best place to play is everywhere, it’s especially fun to play at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota.
It’s with this thought in mind that the museum is celebrating a Worldwide Day of Play on Saturday, Sept. 28, in partnership with the Association of Children’s Museums and Nickelodeon. The day is focused on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around.
This day is even more special to those in Brookings: it coincides with the Children’s Museum of South Dakota’s 14th anniversary!
In addition to play in all of the museum exhibits, the celebration will include a variety of pop-up activities ranging from story time, to fizzy bubbles, to straw rockets with all activities listed on the museum’s calendar.
Play along on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 am to 5 pm. Members have a special member-only hour from 9-10 am.
