Virtual STEAM Challenge: Sensory Number Writing

Our Virtual STEAM Challenges are engaging, hands-on experiences for children using materials found around the home. To playfully explore numbers and the senses, please gather the following materials prior to class:

• A plastic or metal tray, like a cookie sheet
• Loose, sensory material such as sand, rice, flour, dry beans or sugar
• 20 small objects of similar shape, such as pennies, Legos, buttons, or paperclips.
