Virtual STEAM Challenge: Build a Boat

Our Virtual STEAM Challenges are engaging, hands-on experiences for children using materials found around the home. To build and test your own boats please gather the following materials prior to class:

• Paper for building
• Tin Foil
• Popsicle Sticks
• Scissors
• Tape
• Tub filled with water
• Hand towel or rag
• Pennies, paper clips, buttons, Lego’s, OR marbles (any small item in bulk that can get wet)
• Pencil
• Paper for note taking
