Special Monday Opening – Native American Day

School is out, and we are open for a special day of play in all of the museum exhibits.

Join us as we celebrate Native American Day.

Learn how to hoop dance and explore all of our Museum exhibits from 10 am to 5 pm!

Join us for a Buffalo Box Demonstration at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.

Learn more about how the Oceti Sakowin (translated as the Seven Counsel Fires), the Dakota tribal family that lived in the Northeastern and Eastern part of South Dakota and Western Minnesota, used buffalo in many ways as they lived on the plains.
