We’re excited to welcome Tanya McCarlson, a local Falconer and Wildlife Educator, for a special Interactive Bird Education Program! Tanya brings her expertise in falconry and years of experience working with birds of prey to create an unforgettable learning experience.
During this program, guests will have the chance to:
- Learn fascinating facts about raptors and other birds
- Discover the important role these animals play in our ecosystem
- See live birds up close and explore their unique adaptations
While our feathered friends will be staying perched during the program (no flight demonstrations), you’ll still get to meet them up close and discover what makes them so amazing!
Tanya’s passion for wildlife and education makes her presentations engaging, interactive, and perfect for curious learners of all ages. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to connect with nature and meet some incredible feathered ambassadors!
Space is limited. Tickets (free with paid admission to the Museum) will be available at the Welcome Center starting Friday morning, October 10.
