Celebrate Lunar Life, our brand-new traveling exhibit that explores the life of an astronaut in space!
Explore a variety of space missions as you learn how astronauts eat, exercise, grow vegetables, and mine for materials.
During this special event, you will be able to:
- Create straw rockets in the Art Studio
- Set off water rockets on our outdoor prairie
- Learn how to moonwalk
- Watch a documentary about how the exhibit came to be
- Listen to the book You Are Going about NASA’s Artemis campaign that is exploring the moon
- Talk with exhibit designers from SDSU and ask them questions about what it takes to create a museum exhibit
- Enjoy the Rocket Quesadilla $5 Community Meal in Cafe Coteau
- Play along in all of the museum exhibits!
