After School in the Maker Studio

Need after-school care? Or perhaps you are looking for a place to spark your child’s imagination? The After School Maker Studio is a flexible, drop-off, come and go experience for children age 5 and up.

The space, designed by children for children, will inspire all makers. Daily experiences foster creativity, curiosity and self-expression through a variety of activities including robotics, circuitry, pottery, sculpture, and paint to name a few. Children will have the time and space to explore the diverse interests they bring with them.

Author and Illustrator of the children’s book Porter the Hoarder will be visiting from 3:15 – 4:30! Illustrator Rebecca Swift will be doing drawing demonstrations and our new Recycled Construction Studio will be open in Maker Studio.
