SUMMARY:Sensory Friendly Play
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a low-sensory playtime that offers a calm\, less crowded opportunity for exploration in our Museum’s exhibits.  This event is specially designed for children\, adults\, and families who will benefit from expanded accessibility and sensory accommodations. \nSpecial Guests:  \nMove U\, an organization focused on child well-being and growth development through pediatric occupational therapy\, will be on-site and available to provide education to families. They will also be available to offer sensory modifications for children who need it. \nLearn more about Move U\, and their non-traditional therapy environment on their website. \nThe following adaptations are available at SFP events:\n– Service providers as well as service pets are welcome\n– Less crowded environment\n– Designated quiet rooms\n– Adaptive equipment\n– Adaptive art tools\n– Café space available if families bring a packed meal \n  \nIf your child needs specific accommodations to attend\, participate\, or engage in play at our museum\, please call 605-692-6700\, ext. 238\, or email info@prairieplay.org.\nDo you want to be reminded of these events?
