New Exhibit Opens
"A STREAM to PONDer: Interconnected Life in South Dakota Habitats" is now open for visitors to experience.
The exhibit, a result of hundreds of hours of research, planning, and collaborative construction with the community welcomes guests to weave a nest, build a beaver den, rush through a river and explore the underside of a pond. They can also interact with a variety of characters who often visiting the exhibit.
Guest artist Megan Flod Johnson recently spent time with staff and performers to help guide the process of the unique interactions possible in this exhibit. She will return to the Museum to conduct further workshops and training in August.
The exhibit is tentatively scheduled to remain at the Museum through 2015.
