Volunteers are essential to our museum team.

The Children’s Museum of South Dakota relies on volunteer support to create a welcoming, exciting and engaging environment where children and adults learn through play. Your efforts help us inspire children to learn and grow by providing high-quality learning experiences that last a lifetime.

There are so many ways to share your talents. We need volunteers in all areas including education, exhibits, programming and events, guest services, administration and retail. If you are over the age of 16 and love to learn, play and have fun, then we’re looking for you. 

All volunteers must receive orientation before working in the museum. We also require all adult volunteers to complete a background check. To volunteer your time and talents, please click on Become a Volunteer and complete the Volunteer Application form.
